At Double D Ranch Golden Retrievers, we strive to raise quality, and healthy goldens in our home in a loving and caring environment. We are dedicated to following a responsible breeding program, we  genetically test our dogs to focus on keeping our animals healthy and happy.  We also have our dogs certified through OFA on Hips, Elbows, Heart, & Eyes.

About The Humans

We are a breeder located in  South West Michigan. We raise dark mahogany red field goldens. We have been involved with breeding goldens since 2019. Our main priority is ensuring the health and well-being of all our goldens from birth until they leave with their forever family - and beyond. We live on a small farm in rural Michigan were our Golden Retrievers can thrive in their natural elements. We pride ourselves on raising healthy and happy goldens. We always keep the breed standard in mind to better the breed.

Dallas is a fun loving outgoing boy! He loves to lay on the couch next to you. He is energetic and likes to explore the outside. He will lay in the sun or check the fence. He has great athletic abilities. He is a happy boy that is always on an adventure. He tops out at 65 lbs. He has been genetically tested and  is  currently being OFA certified . He is AKC & UKC registered. Dallas was born in Enterprise Mississippi.

 Dallas is available for stud with approved females.

Dutton

Dutton is a sweetheart! With a dark Mahogany red coat with a bit of wave on his back with golden feathering.  This makes for a very handsome boy! He likes to be a lap dog but is also very independent. Dutton is a very smart boy. He responds well to commands and, is a quick learner. Dutton is that male that will be your baby at home, but when asked to work he is just as content. He tops out at around 60lb. Dutton has been genetically tested through embark. Dutton has had his preliminary OFA's on hips & elbows. Dutton is dual registered with AKC & UKC.

Dutton was born in Boulder Montana!

Gypsy

Gypsy is a sweet fun loving girl. Her retrieving instinct is strong. She will always grab something close and bring it to you then drop it. She has a nice mahogany red coat with a nice wavy pattern along her back. Her feathering is a lighter golden straw coloring which makes for a beautiful color combination. Gypsy is registered through AKC and UKC. She tops out at 60 lbs. She has an outgoing disposition and loves to be the center of attention.
Gypsy was born in Gaylord Mi.

Aspen

Aspen is an energetic little girl! She is a hard lover. She will come up on your lap and put her head under your chin and lean into you.  She also will sit right down perfectly content chewing on a toy laying beside you. She listens to commands and loves her crate.  She is not a barking dog but, will talk if she wants something. She does well with young children. Aspen tops out at around 55lbs.

Aspen was born in Windsor Colorado!

Dakota comes from a long line of hunters. She is the darkest red golden I have. She tops out at  50lbs. She has a high prey drive and listens. She also is my most affectionate dog and wants to be loved. She will sit right on your lap and want you to scratch her chest and belly.

Shyanne is that affectionate little girl! She loves to come into the bedroom and make sure mom is up for work. First things first she wants to make sure she talks to you in her low tones. She makes sure she gets her chest scratched first then her kisses! Then your up!  She likes to cuddle but also gets the zoomies. She is a well rounded young lady. Shyanne is still growing but should be between 55-60 lbs.

Our Spring 2025 pairing will be Dakota & Dallas!

What the puppies go home with:

The puppies will have their first shots at 6 weeks. They will have been wormed as well. We give a blanket with the smell from momma and the siblings to help transitioning them to their new furever homes.  They are also sent home with a small bag of food to transition them over to the food of your choice. We feed them Diamond Chicken and rice all life stages. Any necessary paperwork and a record from the vet visit with the vaccine & wormer used. The puppies will be microchipped before they leave.
